Independent non-profit organisation Zavod Big promotes the development of creative economy, brings together development potentials of society and confronts them with the challenges of the world today.
It is one of few organisations that forge interdisciplinary connections between the economic sector and creative industries.
Through critical evaluation of creative achievements, and by promoting and highlighting strategic, economic and cultural benefits of design, it showcases design as an opportunity for enhanced competitiveness of the economy and society as a whole.

Since 2018, Zavod Big has been systematically spreading its reach through research, promotion and integration of creative potentials throughout Southeast Europe. Through systematic identification of industries with big growth potential in Slovenia and the region – currently the construction, tourism and wood industries – we want to develop an environment supportive to creative and innovative interaction between creators and entrepreneurs.
