The Centre for Creativity presents visual artist and animation director Rok Predin, who is best known for his animated films and music videos. His clients include some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as The Rolling Stones, Elton John, U2, Take That, and Madness. Recently he took part in the production of an animated video for the legendary Beatles. He has directed commercials for Jaguar, Canon, and Coca Cola, with his latest feat the lyric video for U2’s song Levitate.
His success began when he moved to London and joined Trunk Animation, a mixed media production company. Over the years he has created a series of short animated films, commercials, music videos, TV title sequences, and stage projections. His animations were projected on Buckingham Palace to mark Queen Elisabeth’s 60 years on the British throne. And his animated short film “One of a Kind” won the Audience Award in Stuttgart in 2014.
For the past few years Rok has been living and working in Maribor again, collaborating with the Maribor Puppet Theatre as a director, set designer, and visual artist, and with the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor as a set designer and video projection artist.
