EN-KNAP institute is looking to present the oder360 project and its potential, the technology and the approaches used to virtualize contemporary performance practices through a series of online lectures to be held 16–18 February 2021. The event is part of the CzK Partner Network programme and represents the establishment of a new type of production in the form of virtual performances (recorded with a 360° camera from the centre of the stage) and a guided viewing of these performances with VR glasses from different rooms.
The project does not aspire to replace the classic model of watching performances, but to establish a new perspective, a simulation of theatre in new environments and circumstances. In addition to adapting to the current situation and enabling action in the context of an epidemic, it is primarily a new way of bringing contemporary performance practices to new audiences.
Lectures are free and will be held in Slovenian. Applications for lectures should be sent to email@example.com by February 10, 2021.
The project is implemented as part of the activities of the Centre for Creativity Platform and is co-financed by the European Union from the European Fund for Regional Development and the Republic of Slovenia.
