Lumitronome

Kinetic light installation.

The installation is made of scrap aluminium pipes, which often end up in bulky waste. It is a sustainable approach to designing new, self-generating elements that enhance the quality of living in an environmentally friendly and visually compelling way. Lumitronome is a series of kinetic lamps powered by solar energy that create a feeling of serendipitous movement of a metronome, a flock of birds or sea waves. Working as a perpetuum mobile this kinetic light installation produces a slow and gentle, meditative sense of light in motion.
