This year’s European Creative Industries Summit starts with an online PRE-Conference on the 21st of April. Over the course of five months, with the aim of gathering as many people and ECBN Members as possible, ECBN and partners are preparing the Future Unlocked! #ECIS21 Conference. The final conference from the 12th to the 15th of September in Ljubljana, Slovenia will be hosted by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU and organised in collaboration with Creativeforum.si and the the Centre for Creativity Slovenia.
The following two pre- conferences will be organised as online gatherings by ECBN on the 20th of May and 23rd of June. Due to our guiding principle together in distance: where we are physically distanced but remain socially connected. If the Covid-19 hygiene requirements allow greater gatherings the host plans to organise this year’s #ECIS21 conference as an analogue event in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
From 12th to 15th September 2021, Creativeforum.si, the European Creative Industries Summit (ECIS) and the Centre for Creativity Slovenia will join hands in this endeavour. Hosted by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, these two events will gather creatives from the European Union and beyond to identify skills, tools and methods used to unlock the potential of the global creative economy. How can it best contribute to green transition, social innovation, economic growth and innovative administration, efficient in building a sustainable post-COVID world?
The conference Future Unlocked! is a joint event by the European Creative Industries Summit (#ECIS21), Creativeforum.si and the Centre for Creativity Slovenia which is hosted by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The European Creative Industries Summit (ECIS) is a yearly conference organised by the European Creative Business Network (ECBN).
