Platform for the Development of Cultural and Creative Sector
The Centre for Creativity is the first national business development accelerator for professionals working in the creative and cultural sectors. The platform is run by the Museum of Architecture and Design and together with open calls of the Ministry of Culture it forms the support framework for the development of the creative sector in Slovenia. The Centre's programmes are aimed at strengthening the social and economic value of the sector while forging stronger ties with other sectors and the economy in general.
CommunityWe develop projects that take shape at the intersection of different creative disciplines, art, experimentation, entrepreneurship, and business, and have not yet received a system-wide public funding. We promote interdisciplinary co-operation and the development of projects that are commercially viable, increase added value and contribute to social progress and welfare.

The Centre for Creativity functions as the entry point for the creative sector and is an important part of Slovenia's support environment for innovations. As one of the cornerstones of the development of the society, creativity plays an important role in addressing key environmental, economic, and societal challenges that lie ahead. The mission of the CzK is to establish systemic measures for the successful development of the sector and to ensure its spill-overs to other sectors.
How big is the creative sector in Slovenia?
The Statistical Analysis of the Situation in the Cultural and Creative Sectors in Slovenia 2008–2017 conducted by CzK in cooperation with the Institute for Economic Research is the most comprehensive analysis of the sector so far and covers 35,212 individuals working in creative professions and 24,062 registered entities active in the creative and cultural sectors.
