Breakfast with Plečnik

Development of a new souvenir collection aimed at popularising cultural heritage.

Designer Ljubica Čehovin - Suna is one of the pioneers in souvenir and gift design. Her collaboration with Kabinet 01 started after the widely acclaimed retrospective exhibition How to Draw a City?. Together with Kabinet 01 designers she started developing and expanding the existing Breakfast with Plečnik line of high-quality gifts and souvenirs. Plečnik’s omnipresence in Ljubljana is embodied in his silhouette watching over the souvenirs, tokens of the incredible creative charge that we are allowed to take back with us, thus spreading and expressing the cultural substance of the capital in the most prosaic way, through items of mass production and easy distribution.
