DESIGN AND PRODUCTION
Dan Adlešič
A square-shaped steel tube formed into a zigzag line becomes a radiator.
This exercise in post-survival aesthetics explores the sculptural value of a product, which is mostly considered a "non-design" element of the interior. The sparkling glam shape is further boosted by high-gloss car paint, which gives the feeling that we are dealing with a gleaming product from the world of car racing. This radiator "bypass" arose from a real necessity during the renovation of an old apartment in Ljubljana.
