The cutting or serving board is a by-product of the work process in which solid wood furniture, such as the Studio Moste drawer, is created. The cutting board is made from cubes of a red oak, often overlooked waste. Its work surface is extremely durable, as it is made of vertically placed pieces of wood, producing a pattern of squares with a symmetrical cross section, which in turn creates a lace-like effect. Each board is unique and comes with its own serial number.
