
In March 2023, the Center for Creativity joined the partnership of the Capacity2Transform project (Interreg Central Europe), which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund – ERDF. Capacity2Transform is a capacity-building project that addresses the lack of skills in the Creative and Cultural Industries and sustainable tourism Small and Medium Enterprises in Central Europe. Its aim is to address the lack of skills in these sectors to participate in and contribute to digital and green transition initiatives.
The digital transition of the mentioned sectors requires a renewed structure of entrepreneurial competences. The Capacity2Transform project therefore aims to strengthen the capacities of entrepreneurship support organizations across Central Europe in raising the skills of the cultural and creative industries sector and sustainable tourism, consistent with the green, digital and creative transition. The project also aims to facilitate companies and institutions to embrace the cultural and creative sectors as partners in designing and delivering complex digital, green and creative solutions and products to the market.
The project partnership is diversified and covers the entire area of Central Europe (11 project partners and 17 associate partners); the leading partner is Primorska Tehnolgy Park (Slovenia), and the other partners are Friuli Innovazione (FVG – Italy), Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency (Hungary), BRNO – BizGarden (Czech Republic), Build! (Austria), Università IUAV di Venezia (Italy), STEINBEIS Europa Zentrum (Germany), University of Split, Faculty of Economics (Croatia), IRI Centar Business Incubator (Croatia), Centre of Creativity – Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Technical University of Kosice, Faculty of Economics (Slovakia). The project started on March 1, 2023 and will be implemented for 36 months.
