CzK and MAO, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture as the national NEB contact points, combined a diverse delegation in response to an invitation from the European Commission to the NEB stakeholder meeting in Brussels. The delegation included representatives from the City Municipality of Celje, the Municipality of Ravne na Koroškem, the Zasavje Regional Development Agency, the Savinjska Regional Development Agency, the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy, the Iskriva Institute, the Slovenian Regional Development Fund, the Center for the Development, Demonstration, and Training of Carbon-Free Technologies, the Preplet – Zasavsko Learning Hub project, as well as CzK and MAO.

The central event of NEB in regions and cities was the ceremonial awarding of the New European Bauhaus prizes, which took place on September 30th at the European Parliament. The project (Un)healthy Spaces by urban studio Prostorož was awarded second place in the category Prioritizing People and Spaces that Need It Most. The project focuses on improving outdoor areas tailored to the needs of patients, healthcare workers, and visitors.
