The event will take place between 9 and 19 October 2025 as part of Budapest Design Week and offers a curated international platform for the presentation of contemporary product and industrial design.

The theme of this year’s edition is “Design Aligns – Creating Together, Living Connected“, with a focus on collaboration, sustainability, cultural identity and innovative use of materials. Submitted projects should reflect a contemporary and connected approach to design.

You can apply with finished products, limited series, prototypes or digital concepts in the fields of: furniture, lighting, textiles, ceramics, glass, metal, mixed materials and design-led autonomous artworks. The selection will be made by an expert jury on the basis of aesthetic value, conceptual clarity, sustainability and production potential. The selected works will be included in a curated exhibition at a prestigious location in Budapest and presented on HFDA’s digital channels.
