Bio-fabricated materials for sustainable and beautiful construction
Horizon Europe is launching a call for projects developing bio-based materials for sustainable, aesthetic and circular construction.
The aim is to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon and circular construction industry through the use of innovative materials created through bio-based processes.
Projects should include:
An interdisciplinary and participatory approach,
involving experts from architecture, design, engineering, the public sector and local communities.
Key information:
- Total funds available: 10 million EUR
- Deadline for submission of applications: 12 November 2025 at 17:00
- Eligible countries: all EU Member States plus Ukraine
