Slovenian Space MATERIAL BAR Slovenian curatorial group composed of: Katarina Dekleva, Rok Oblak and Bor Pungerčič will be presented at Milan Design Week, 7-13 April 2025.The curatorial team, who are themselves active in the field of design and architecture, has selected 11 exhibitors whose design processes will be the subject of the presentation.

Design I Creativity I Production I Innovation

The installation departs in its conception from the classical design exhibition. It goes beyond the simple presentation of a product as the outcome of a design process and focuses on design as a holistic activity involving working and thinking processes, materials, environment and relationships.

The curatorial proposal was selected following an open call by the Centre for Creativity. The jury recognised the excellence of the concept in the project, submitted by a group of experienced and reference artists, for its originality, visibility and boldness. The project is part of the internationalisation programmes of the CzK, through which the Centre involves a diverse group of curators, designers, collectives and other professionals of the younger generation in the selection and presentation of contemporary Slovenian design and creative production.
