The shape of the cotton swabs is frozen into porcelain through a firing process
With this product, the artist seeks to transform simple objects from everyday life into complex, inimitable pieces for eternity. Cotton swabs are transformed from disposable products into products with special value. This gives the swabs a new function and shape in which the original form can still be recognized. In contrast to the cotton swabs, porcelain products are made to last forever. The Fragile Bodies remind the user of the meaningfulness (meaninglessness) of everyday objects that surround them.
