Re:Form is a call to bring fresh perspectives to old spaces, proving that thoughtful adaptation can be a powerful tool for a more sustainable future. This edition celebrates the ingenuity needed to balance sustainability, functionality, and design within an existing space.

In a world facing urgent environmental and spatial challenges, the most sustainable solutions may come not from new construction, but from reimagining what already exists. Participants can choose any existing structure—whether currently in use, abandoned, or neglected—anywhere in the world. Each project should demonstrate the potential to transform a limited footprint into something innovative.

Competition is open to all. No professional qualification is required. Design proposals can be developed individually or by teams (4 team members maximum).

Prizes:

• 1st place: 5,000 EUR
• 2nd place: 2,500 EUR
• 3rd place: 1,000 EUR
• Student award: 1,000 EUR
• Sustainability award: 500 EUR
• 6 honorable mentions who receive a certificate

Registration deadline is 10 September 2026. Deadline for project submission is 12 October 2026.

There is a fee to register for the competition. Prices vary and depend on whether the applicant is a student or not and whether payment will be made in one go or in three installments.
