Every year, ORTE Architekturnetzwerk Niederösterreich organises residencies for artists in Krems>>.

In 2021, a monthly stipend of EUR 1,300 and an apartment/studio will be provided for artists focusing their work on architecture. The residency lasts from one to three months and concludes with a presentation of the project created on site during the residency.

They are looking for practice-related projects with applied value that focus on living environments and local interaction, and are less interested in purely theoretical work or projects tackling global issues. Application deadline for the 2021 scholarship is 31 May 2020. To be eligible to apply applicants must be graduates in architecture or related field of building culture (architecture, landscape planning, urban and spatial planning, theorists and curators).
