In the November edition of Creative Accelerator, we will touch on the topic of Design Strategy: Introducing Creativity into the Business Process. Lecturer Mito Mihelič, Head of the Strategy Design Department at the Maschinenraum (Viessmann Group) in Berlin, will take us through two sets of lectures, from the basics of design thinking to more complex concrete examples of application in practice.

The e-workshop will be conducted online in two parts, with a short break:

  • The first segment of the lecture is intended for designers and other creators in the creative industries who want to gain knowledge in design thinking and become better familiar with the role and potential of creative professions in industries not previously considered primary (i.e. B2B environment). By sharing the personal experience of a designer working in a business environment, we will present the main benefits of creative thinking and empowering employees with techniques toward achieving user-friendly solutions faster.

  • The second segment deals with the exchange of concrete challenges, where we will discuss research into the user experience and determine its relevance and upgrade it in the broader context of innovation in business models (i.e. innovation management). We will deal with planning and tools for rapid validation of solutions, planning creative workshops, and translating solutions into long-term implementation schemes.
