Witty cleaning tools, elegant bottles, innovative clay filters and flocks of flying plants: the unique collection brings together a wide range of products inspired by the element of water (“voda” is the Slovene word for water). Each piece celebrates the harmony of aesthetics and functionality in its own way—when you see them all in one place, you will also be able to see water (so special and yet ordinary at the same time) with new eyes and through fresh design solutions.

In addition to the fact that it is a fascinating and thought-provoking exhibition, “VODA“ is also a kind of insider’s guide to the state of “contemporary Slovenian product design; the exhibition thus presents Ajda Bertok, Lara Bohinc, Rok Oblak, Tanja Pak, Darja Malešič, Katjuša Kranjc & Rok Kuhar, Urška Sadar, Soft Baroque, Hana Tavčar, David Tavčar, Izadora Verlič, EQUA, Kolpasan, Prapra and Pjorkkala.

The exhibition is curated by Design Corner Ljubljana, a bright new spot on the map of Slovenian creativity, as it presents what’s new on the design scene week after week. With its activities, Design Corner proudly presents the design results of the city and thus turns Ljubljana into one of the most interesting centers of European design.
