The call is open to dance companies/artists with projects in the development phase that have not yet been premiered. Completed performances will not be accepted, nor will applications from artists who have been selected in the last three editions of the call. Each company/artist can only present one project. When evaluating applications, PimOff will take into account the project’s ability to bring together a wide network of partners and supporters to support its development and touring. The committee will give priority to all proposals that present a long-term project plan; a solid economic plan; communication materials in support of the project (images and videos); and those that clearly define all the goals and expectations for this specific residency.

PimOff will provide:

• Theatre room (schedule to be agreed)
• Accommodation (open space for a maximum four people, with kitchen)
• Financial support up to 3000 €
• Technical counselling
• Technical materials
• Organisation, promotion and communication support

Selected companies/artists are expected to:

• organize a training or laboratory activity during the residency period. It can be a masterclass addressed to dancers and performers of the length of three hours, or an educational activity addressed to a wider public to be held on the morning of the Sunday included in the residency period. It can also be any activity involving the public and that territory, functional to the process of research and production of the project.
• be available for residency openings and participate to promotional and educational activities addressed to the local community and schools.
• communicate to PimOff well in advance all eventual presentations of the project to the public, and/or participation in awards or festivals. Those projects that have a premiere before the residency at PimOff will be excluded, even after the publication of the call results.

Travels, transfers, board expenses, visas are in charge of the companies/artists. All A1 documents or any certificate of applicable legislation, international agreements etc. are at the expense of the company/artist and its relative documentation will be presented at the moment of the signing of the contract. Please note that PimOff is headed by Pim Spazio Scenico cultural association, which is not a production institution and therefore it won’t take part in the project as producer or co-producer.

Regardless of the stage of project development, all artists are required to present a preview/study of the project to an audience of at least 30 minutes at the end of the residency and are invited to lead a training or laboratory activity open to the public. Each residency concludes with a moment of meeting and exchange between artists and the audience.

The application deadline is April 30, 2026, at 11:59 a.m. The results of selection will be announced by June 15, 2026.
