Slovenia ClimAccelerator is opening applications for the 2024 program, which will take place under the auspices and brand of EIT Climate-KIC and in cooperation with the Ljubljana University Incubator. The program represents an excellent opportunity for startups with solutions to combat climate change.

The program will take place in 3 phases:

• Incubation: September 15, 2024 – October 15, 2024. This phase is aimed at verifying customer needs, measuring market size and potential, identifying the primary market and determining a suitable business model. It is precisely designed as an educational initiative tailored to start-ups. Participating startups will gain access to a series of online workshops, receive mentoring and benefit from the expertise of experts, all tailored to their individual requirements.
• Acceleration: October 16, 2024 – November 15, 2024. This phase mirrors the program structure of Level 1, but at a more advanced level with a sharper focus on achieving product-market fit and enabling early escalation. The focus will be on close cooperation with mentors and field experts who will play a key role in promoting the growth and development of startups.
• Investment readiness: November 16, 2024 – December 15, 2024. This phase is aimed at preparing companies for investment opportunities, increasing their visibility and connecting with potential investors. Effectively addresses the unique needs of each participating company.

Startups with an innovative solution (product or service) that addresses climate change and supports the green transition are invited to apply. Startups must have a registered company in a RIS-eligible country. Preference will be given to startups that are based in Slovenia, are younger than 5 years old, have at least one employee and are registered in the Register of Innovative Startups of Slovenia. 8 to 10 companies will be selected to join the program.
