As partners of EIT Culture & Creativity and Kreativwirtschaft Austria, Centre for Creativity participated at the European Days of Culture and Creativity conference, which took place on 10 and 11 October at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
The event, which was attended by more than 450 visitors from 33 countries, also brought together representatives of support organisations and policy makers from the south-eastern Europe and the Alpine region. Their participation underlined the importance of the cultural and creative sector for the future development of innovation in the EU context and for the realisation of the CzK vision of cross-sectoral integration.
EIT Culture & Creativity is the youngest EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community, which will connect cultural and creative sectors and industries in the largest innovation network in Europe. Their aim is to split approximately 300 million EUR of EIT funding under Horizon Europe during the 2021-2027 EU funding period for innovation in connecting the cultural and creative sectors with education programmes, services, products, business and society.
