The Prague Cultural Forum wants to establish long-term cooperation between experts in the field of art, culture and cultural and creative industries, and to introduce current foreign trends into the Prague environment. The Centre for Creativity was recognized as an example of good practice in the national field, but also increasingly visible and relevant in the international creative and cultural environment, so we were invited to present their experience of operating and establishing a platform for a national promoter for creative people.

For the first year, the forum is a participatory event to launch a new cultural policy for the capital city of Prague (2022-2030), hosting contributions from international experts such as Pier Luigi Sacco (IULM University of Milan), Jordi Pardo (Nartex Barcelona) and Michal Hladky (Creative Industry Košice).

This year’s forum is based on an already established cultural policy and will address the topic of excellence. It seeks to examine excellence from a variety of perspectives inspired by cultural policy criteria. The Prague Cultural Forum is being re-established in cooperation with the Prague City Hall and the Prague Department of Culture and Tourism.
