An opportunity for creators and providers of tourism services from Northern Primorska

We invite all creators interested in collaborating with tourism service providers from Northern Primorska and in developing proposals for sustainable products or services as a part of the green digital transformation, to apply into the database of interested participants for the pilot initiative Transforming Capacities.

The application deadline is August 31, 2024.

As a part of the pilot initiative, a professional committee will choose at least 15 participants and 15 providers of tourism services, that together will shape 15 intersectoral partnerships. Selected participants will receive training and mentoring from the Center of Creativity and the Primorska Technology Park, focused on developing ideas and enhancing their business and creative skills.

By the end of January 2025, the partnerships consisting of representatives from both creators and tourism service providers, will present their concept proposals for the development of sustainable products or services at a public showcase event. For their work and proposals of the ideas, the creators of each of the 15 groups will receive co-production funding of 1.800 EUR gross per project. All partners within the groups will also receive have access to additional training and consultations, as well as national and international promotion.

Among the submitted proposals, an international expert committee will select a national project in February 2025, which will receive 10.000 EUR gross co-production funding for the development and realization of a product or service prototype by the end of May 2025.

Project goals

The goal of the project and pilot development is to establish opportunities for long-term cooperation between creators, companies, and other providers of tourism services from Northern Primorska, and to connect sectors in the search for ideas that will address the challenges of developing a sustainable tourism offering in the Northern Primorska region.
