Petra Grmek Green is a fashion and textile designer with over 20 years of international experience, currently developing the workwear brand Workhorse Wear. It is designed on the principles of a circular economy and produced in Slovenia. The brand, whose tagline is Urban Utility Wear. Circular by Design., is aimed at the modern urban user who is looking for functional, durable and responsibly produced clothing with a long life cycle.

Petra moved to London in 2004, where she worked as a senior lingerie designer at Courtaulds Textiles PLC, developing collections for Marks & Spencer and Debenhams. She also taught lingerie and swimwear design at the London College of Fashion. Since 2008, she has run her own textile interior design brand, Room39, which has been featured in numerous international publications. In 2015, she designed Tranzitstore, an exhibition and sales project for Slovenian designers, as part of the London Design Festival.

After returning to Slovenia in 2017, she founded the company Sans Concept d.o.o. and opened a fashion boutique in Ljubljana. After the pandemic, she focused on consulting, including coordinating the development of collections for the London-based brand Elliss with Slovenian manufacturers. Her knowledge of the domestic textile industry encouraged her to develop her own brand.
