Fashion incubator 2026: fashion designer presentation 8/15

Nika Močnik is a fashion and footwear designer whose work is characterized by a playful and humorous approach that stems from observing everyday situations, human behavior, and unexpected mistakes. She translates these into unique fashion pieces and explores the relationship between functionality, absurdity, and aesthetics.

Her graduation collection Rush Hour explores the dynamics of everyday rush and ways of thinking and dressing under time pressure, reflected in the reinterpretation of wardrobe staples, accessories and footwear. After completing her studies, she attended a footwear design workshop in Mallorca in collaboration with the Camper brand, where she developed the capsule collection How to Kill a Shoe?, which explores the deconstruction of the shoe and the transformation of its individual elements.

Today she lives and works in Mallorca, where she works as a footwear designer for Camper and Camper Lab. She is also developing her own brand, which will be based on her personal design language, with a focus on footwear and fashion accessories, and on exploring identity through modern, playful and conceptual design.
