Je umetniški direktor showcase festivala in konference MENT Ljubljana. Z glasbenim poslom se je do sedaj srečeval v vseh možnih oblikah: kot glasbeni urednik in novinar, kot organizator koncertov in založnik, kot menedžer in booker. Ob MENT-u velja izpostaviti njegovo participacijo pri zagonu glasbenega medija Hrupmag ter režijo dokumentarca Muzika je džabe.

In October, we’re hosting a new Music business 2.0 event at the Centre for Creativity Project Space in Maribor, co-produced with SIGIC as a part of the partner network of the CzK Platform 2019. We’re hosting Silvij Skok from Glitterbeat, the leading international record label for world music. The lecture will be followed by networking and a concert by the rapper EMKEJ.

Silvij Skok je dolgoletni glasbeni entuziast, ki se je po letih udejanjanja kot DJ, organizator koncertov, roadie, nekvalificiran manager, predvsem pa strasten zbiralec glasbe leta 2013 znašel ob rojstvu založbe Chrisa Eckmana in Petra Webra, Glitterbeat Records, in postal njuna desna roka.

Tilen Ločniškar

Tilen Ločniškar graduated in sociology of culture and took theory into practice through his extensive career in digital advertising. Having worked for different agencies he gained experience in “corpo” communications and presentation of diverse companies on social media, while devising also more unscrupulous social media appearance strategies for startups. As head of digital marketing at Ulla Labs he has been responsible for smooth running sales of Slovenian products to the USA in recent years, which eventually led him to visit Facebook offices in Dublin and London. As a lecturer in Facebook marketing he consults individuals and companies at the Go-Tel company on Facebook and Instagram sales.

Following the riveting and extremely well-attended session with Nikola Sekulović hosting two players on the Štajerska music scene, Robert Novak and Tinček Bradač, the new season of the training cycle Music Business takes off in Maribor. This time, Luka Zagoričnik steps into the shoes of the interrogator.

Joining him on stage to discuss the opportunities and obstacles awaiting musicians looking to make an international breakthrough will be Oskar Štrajn and Max Gregor, both well-versed in what it takes to make it in the international music scene.

The training cycle Music Business 2.0 is a collaboration project run by SIGIC – Slovenian Music Information Centre and the Centre for Creativity of the Museum of Architecture and Design Ljubljana.

In cooperation with Poligon, Centre for Creativity is carrying out the mentorship project 1 on 1. It is dedicated to independent creators and micro/startup companies that would like to reduce the risk of unsuccessful development of their projects. Experts from the fields of marketing, prototyping, production, finance, business and copyright will help you with questions on how to plan better and how to execute a particular phase of your project, providing free advice and without beating about the bush.

Nejc Matjaž

Nejc Matjaž is a mechanical engineer working at the intersection of the academic and entrepreneurial spheres. As a researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (2010 - 2014) he developed numerous projects and co-authored four patents. During this time he founded ONDU d.o.o. (2014) with his partner and successfully launched wooden pinhole cameras on the global market. In 2015 he took the reins of Poligon Maker Lab and founded FABRIKAID d.o.o. Since then, he has been helping numerous makers, small companies and global corporations to transition from prototype development to setting up production lines. In the 1:1 mentoring season 2018/19 coproduced by Poligon and CzK he mentored 25 creators on product development and won the highest satisfaction score of all the mentors. As a mentor he can help solve the following problems: 1. How to make a prototype and the minimum viable product (MVP)? 2. Which materials and technologies to use for quality products at acceptable costs? 3. How to prepare products for serial production and how to set it up? 4. How to find reliable production partners? 5. How to design packaging? 6. How to obtain the relevant standards and certifications – CE? Nejc’s key prerogative is to find innovative solutions that simplify and reduce the costs of production processes irrespective of the size of the series.
